Winter 2011

The Winter 2011 edition of N-DAP News which is focussing on young people and alcohol work with those over and under 18 years of age.

This time of year sees more people reaching out for substance misuse services and support for themselves or others and we hope that this editions gives some guidance on what types of support can be found and where in Norfolk it is available.

The service user page also gives details of the very successful third Summit held at the Kings Centre in November.

The new Overdose poster which was mainly designed by service users is also featured.

Summer 2011

The Summer 2011 edition features our new dedicated service user section, SU News, news on the latest N-DAP resources as well as an insight into the preventative work done by a member of the Norfolk Youth Offending Team. We also celebrate the wonderful achievement of the Matrix Project exhibition, Perception, with an in-depth interview with the artist behind the photographs, Anita Staff.

Spring 2011

Following the theme of Recovery, this edition focuses on the work and achievements of Service Users in Norfolk. Read about George and Tom, two key figures in the Norwich Recovery scene and SUIT, the Service Users in Thetford group. The spring edition also includes an 2012 Commissioning Project update and news about the Jobcentre Plus Joint-Working Protocol.

Winter 2010

The winter Newsletter focuses on the achievements of the staff within substance misuse agencies in Norfolk, following a day in the life of NORCAS trainer Simone Black, the NVQ Success Stories from Hebron Trust and news from INTRAN's 10th birthday celebrations.

N-DAP regularly produces Treatment Plans and Commissioning Strategies as part of its work to achieve our principle aim of reducing the harm caused by the misuse of drugs and alcohol in Norfolk. All of these documents are available to download from the Treatment Plans and Strategies page.
