Arrest Referral

The Matthew Project is the service provider of the Enhanced Arrest Referral Scheme in Norfolk.
The Project employs outreach workers, in addition to management and administration, who undertake drug and alcohol assessments within Police Custody suites and courts across the county and refer arrestees to treatment agencies. The service relies on partnership working with Norfolk Constabulary and treatment providers.

The Enhanced Arrest Referral Scheme is a core element of the Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) in Norfolk.
