DAAT Structure
The structure of the DAAT is based on a system of interlinking groups. There are three primary groups: the Chief Officer’s group, below which sit two joint commissioning groups, Adult Treatment and Young People’s Services.
Feeding directly into the commissioning groups are three standing or permanent groups for the planning and implementation of DAAT policies. These include Treatment Implementation Group (TIG), the Young People’s Implementation Group (YPIG) and the DIP Strategy Board. The DIP Operational Board feeds directly into the DIP Strategy Board.
Sitting below these groups in the structure are a series of maintenance groups which in various ways support the commissioning and treatment implementation processes. These are the Service User’s Engagement Group, The Training and Workforce Development Group, the Information Group, the Substance Misuse Carer’s Partnership; the Information Systems Strategy Group into which the Information Systems Administration Group feeds; the Housing Strategy Group and the Needle Exchange and Supervised Consumption Group.
Below these groups in the structure sit a series of groups that relate to the external partners of the DAAT. These include the four DARGS (Central, Eastern, Western and North Norfolk) and the Drug Availability Group. Most of these groups are chaired by members of the N-DAP partnership, but all have DAAT officers on them. |
