'True or False?'
There are many myths and misconceptions out there about the effects certain drugs including alcohol can have on a person. This section offers straight forward, no nonsense guidance on a range of substances, relating to what a particular drug might look like, it's effects, legal classification and other relevant information.
'No guarantees'
It's important to remember that although people take drugs and alcohol for different reasons, it's difficult to predict how a they will affect a person every time they are taken. What's in the drug or the strength may differ; the mood of the person taking it; the situation in which it is taken; whether or not it's being used with other drugs and of course the amount taken, will all have an impact on how someone is affected. Also, we all have different tolerance levels, which means the amount we can consume before it starts to affect us.
'Looks can be deceptive'
Although we have included some picture of drugs within this section, it is vital people understand that this is just a guide of what they might look like. You can never be 100% sure of what is in a particular substance unless you are a qualified Chemist and you carry a testing kit round with you!
